ABOUT
Annie Paradis is a comedian, writer, actor, and instructor based in Los Angeles, CA.
She currently hosts The Slam a monthly character based poetry comedy show in which she invited comedians to share their poetry to be "critiqued" by herself and a real local poet (@theslamla).
She also hosts and produces NIGHT NIGHT a variety show at Hollywood Improv (@nightnightcomedy).
Paradis has performed at the Del Close Marathon, the District Improv Festival, the Baltimore Improv Festival, amongst others.
Paradis is a poet with work published in Drunken Boat, LUNGFULL!, and Fence amongst others and her book of poems, LOVE POEMS, was published by TXTbooks in 2014.
In 2013 she was awarded 1st place for the Academy of American Poets Prize at Pratt Institute.
In 2020 she was featured in Cinnamon Mag.
