Actor & Model
Annie Paradis is a comedian, actor, writer, and instructor based in Los Angeles, CA. She recently moved from Philadelphia, PA where she performed and wrote with PHIT Comedy house teams Deep State and The Decoy. She performed and taught improv at Good Good Comedy Theatre where she created the monthly poetry based comedy show The Slam. Paradis has performed at the Del Close Marathon, the District Improv Festival, the Baltimore Improv Festival, amongst others.
Currently, she performs and writes a monthly sketch show at The Pack Theater as part of house team Hot City, produces and hosts The Slam at The Lyric Hyperion and is a member of Historically Straight an all lady all queer improv team that performs all over LA.
Paradis is a poet with work published in Drunken Boat, LUNGFULL!, and Fence amongst others and her book of poems, LOVE POEMS, was published by TXTbooks in 2014.
In 2013 Paradis received her BFA from Pratt institute in Creative Writing for Publication, Performance, and Media with a focus in Poetry and Performance and was also awarded 1st place for the Academy of American Poets Prize at Pratt Institute.
